No Noise Entertainment is one of the newest ways to engage with groups of people in Kansas. No Noise is a silent headphones rental company that rents headphones with connecting equipment to event planners of all kinds to bring a new and fun experience to their guests. From silent parties to conferences, the headphones allow users to choose between three different kinds of entertainment of your choice.

Below you can learn how to plan a silent party and how the headphones work.

What is a Silent Party?

Silent parties (originally known as silent discos) allow guests to immerse themselves in the musical experience of a party through color-coded headphones. Our headphones allow you to celebrate with three different kinds of entertainment (most commonly music) so your guests can choose how they enjoy your event.

Step 1

Equipment Included

Our staff will show you all the equipment and teach you how to use the equipment. Equipment: transmitters, headphones with ear covers, a microphone, cords, and adaptors.

Step 2

What is a Transmitter?

The transmitters are what will connect your entertainment to the headphones. Each transmitter is one channel and each headphone connects to up to three channels.

On the right side of the transmitter, from bottom to top you will see, a power port, an on-and-off switch, an audio port, a microphone port, and a volume control. On the top of the transmitter, there is a microphone mute button and a microphone light. On the front of the transmitter from bottom to top are a Bluetooth button, a Bluetooth light, and a channel button. On the left side of the transmitter is the antenna to send a signal to the headphones.

Step 3

Transmitter set up

Each channel is color-coded on the headphones: 1 is blue, 2 is red, and 3 is green. Flip the transmitter "On" and then click the channel button until it shows the channel you want on each transmitter. Each transmitter will be fully charged (last up to 12hrs) when you receive them so no need to plug them in.

Phone, computer, and/or tablet: Plug in the 3.5mm X 3.5mm cord to the transmitter and then to your phone, computer, and/or tablet (repeat for each transmitter). If your Samsung or iPhone device doesn't have a headphone port use the adaptors available. Just plug it into your charging port and then put the 3.5mm cord into the other side of the adaptor. Turn on your playlist and you're connected.

DJ booth: You will use the RCA X 3.5mm cord, just plug in the 3.5mm side of the cord into the transmitter and the red and white RCA plugs into their ports on the DJ booth (repeat for each transmitter). Start playing the playlist and you're connected.

Bluetooth: Go to settings on your device and click the wifi/Bluetooth area and turn on your Bluetooth, then press and hold the Bluetooth button on the transmitter until the light on the transmitter blinks blue and read, click the name of the transmitter on your phone and hit pair, the light on the transmitter will be blue once connected. Turn the transmitter off to reset it and turn off Bluetooth.

Microphone: Plug the microphone into the microphone audio port and push the microphone mute button to turn the mute off, a red light will turn on to show you that you are able to talk. (We do not recommend walking and talking with the transmitter).

Step 4

Using Headphones

On the bottom left side of the headphones (switches facing you), there will be the switches you need to use the headphones. On the bottom is the on-and-off switch. On the edge of the left side is the channels switch, which will allow you to switch from blue to red to green. As stated, each channel is color-coded on the headphones: 1 is blue, 2 is red, and 3 is green. Each headphone will come with headphone ear covers, Do Not take them off!

Step 5

Shutdown Equipment

Have your guest turn all the headphones to the blue channel. Gently unplug your phone, computer, tablet, DJ booth, the adaptor(s) and the microphone(s) from the transmitters. Check that each transmitter and headphone is off. Our staff will cleanse the equipment and put them in the case before leaving.

Step 6
